"Best Care Anywhere!"

The original Mossview Care Home in South Street Lochgelly was owned and managed by Brenda and Kenny Ironside since it opened it’s doors in 1987 and until closing in 2009. Although already providing the ‘best care anywhere’, we decided we would relocate to the town centre to the site of Lochgelly’s former theatre and latterly cinema, the Opera House. By demolishing the old cinema this would provide a suitable site upon which to build a new ‘purpose built’ facility. Our new care home would give us the opportunity to further enhance the care we were already providing. We also thought it would be a good idea to retain the name, hence Mossview @ the Opera.
